Comfortable hotel with good breakfast

Good hotel on one of the main areas of Kanazawa (with a lot of other hotels). Very comfortable rooms with tatami mats, and a generous selection of traditional breakfast foods in the buffet. Well located to walk to samurai district, gardens etc.

Cool once in a lifetime experience

The property is fantastic and truly gives the vibe of being in Japan. The fact that you can walk without shoes on during your stay and have access to a Sento is awesome. If you are visiting as a tourist and want to have a true experience of the Japanese lifestyle while being close to all major attractions this is the hotel for you.

Perfect for onsen lovers

Onsen was wonderful - indoor and outdoor, on the building's roof. Room was beautifully appointed and efficiently designed. Hotel was spotless and a restful retreat. Great location next to bus stops and the fish market, walkable to the castle and gardens.

The bed was a little firm, normal for Asia. I wish there was an option to purchase the jinbei/ pajamas provided for onsen use. Would be great if soba noodles were provided over a wider time frame - I didn't make it back in time to try any.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, fantastic city

The facilities at this property are amazing, after staying with two children I would suggest this is a better property for couples or adults with older children. The Onsen is amazing as is the breakfast

The breakfast was varied and abundant. There was a typical Japanese buffet with a big variety of choices, from fresh sushi to tempura and vegetables, fruits, and more. The room was very big compared to other structures in Japan, and the onsen was very clean and quiet. I also appreciated the very kind staff and all the things in the rooms for guests to use, from socks to pajamas.

Great!

Location is really good, close to the Omicho market, and the walk in the weather to Kanazawa station is quite alright. The bus stop is at Omicho market so it helps a lot. Hotel is in an accessible place so it's easy to access to transportation if you have an IC card. On facilities, loved the onsen, loved the room. I parked the rented car at their parking lot as didn't wanted to leave Kanazawa for the time that I was there. Check-in and check-out process was quite simple. All in all, enjoyed my stay!

incredible onsen, very kind staff, Japanese style room and well furnished although a little small. Includes accessories and a samue (typical house dress). The hotel offers coffee and small snacks at any time.

Handy location near market, close to bus stops that take you everywhere you need. Onsen is lovely.

Pillows were hard - but they supplied more when asked.

The nature hot spring was fantastic. The bonus of free ramen and ice cream is wonderful.

As a foreigner, the channels are not English speaking. And the TV has no connection to my cell phone and laptop, such as Chromecast for better entertainment. I would like to see additional service of helping English speaking people to book restaurants nearby via local phone.

One of our favorite hotels in Japan. It’s the little things that add up, like a great onsen and free popsicles. They also had a time in the evening for complimentary ramen, which was an excellent evening snack. We also really enjoyed how you locked up your street shoes in the lobby and the whole hotel was socks/slippers only. It really adds to the feeling of cleanliness!

The breakfast is pricey by itself, but there is a lot of food options included.

A peaceful, authentic, and comfortable stay with top-notch service—will absolutely return!

Onyado Nono Kanazawa exceeded all expectations. I especially appreciated the traditional Japanese custom of removing shoes at the entrance—this detail added a peaceful, authentic touch and ensured a quiet, clean stay throughout the hotel. The rooms were immaculate with excellent daily turnover service. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering seamless baggage storage both before check-in and after checkout while I explored the city. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from a nearby 7-Eleven and about 15 minutes from the Kanazawa train station. The on-site laundry facilities were another highlight—digital monitoring tells you when your laundry is done, and the wash cycle is free (only the drying is paid). This modern amenity was a huge plus. Quiet, comfortable, and culturally immersive.

Nothing to dislike—my experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
